Paul J. Driver, M.D.

Paul J. Driver, M.D.Paul J. Driver, M.D. is fellowship trained in the detection and treatment of all problems involving the front section of the eye, both the clear and white portions. Common conditions which call upon Dr. Driver's specialized training include infections of the eye, dryness or excessive watering of the eyes, and cataracts. He is also trained to perform all types of corneal surgery, including corneal transplants.

Dr. Driver's specialty training involved significant work in refractive surgery, the surgical technique of correcting visual acuity. Procedures such as the now very popular LASIK are included under the broad heading of refractive surgery. All refractive surgeries involve the surgical alteration of the cornea, which is the clear part of the eye that we see through.

Dr. Driver is fully trained to diagnose and treat almost any eye condition, and his expertise extends strongly into his ability to provide the caring necessary for regular, annual eye check ups.
