Steven A. Nissman, MD

Dr. Steven Nissman is originally from Abington, Pennsylvania. He received
his ophthalmology training at the prestigious Georgetown University Hospital
in Washington, DC, where he served as chief resident and was heavily
involved in the teaching and surgical training of young eye doctors.
Additionally, Dr. Nissman worked at the Bethesda Naval Hospital treating the
eye injuries of US soldiers evacuated from Iraq.
Dr. Nissman is a skilled laser refractive surgeon and is trained and
certified in the most cutting-edge technology available in LASIK vision
correction. He also performs a wide range of intraocular surgical
procedures, cataract surgery, and ocular plastic surgery. He practices
comprehensive adult and pediatric eye care at Soll Eye Associates.
Dr. Nissman trains Wills Eye Hospital residents at Cooper Hospital in New
Jersey. He is an active researcher and has published extensively in
ophthalmic journals. Dr. Nissman is a member of the American Academy of
Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
